The Series A Closure is of the traditional swing bolt style Closure providing a simple and economical solution for applications requiring quick access to vessel internals and where the operational pressure is relatively low.
The Series A Closures are based around the use of pivoted or ‘swing bolts’ that are arranged around a welding hub to secure the removable door in position.
Available in both vertical or horizontal designs, the Series A Closure can be furnished in a wide range of materials including stainless steel, Duplex Stainless Steel, Inconel and of standard carbon steel construction with options for internal coatings or weld inlay of sealing surfaces
The Series G Closure provides a flexible design platform allowing for adaptation for a wide range of applications and is suited for both low, high and ultra-high pressure installations. Based on the proven and reliable design standards of ASME VIII Div 1, the Series G Closure incorporates additional safety and operational features that insure both reliable, safe and ease of operation.
The Series G Closure can be furnished for either horizontal or vertical operation and in a wide range of materials including low & high yield carbon steel, stainless steel, Inconel and Titanium.
The heavy construction of the Series G Closure combined with flexible design and broad range of sealing materials enables the Series G Closure to be furnished for a wide range of applications including severe service applications encountered with Sub-Sea, highly corrosive and high H2S Sour product applications. Safety is paramount to the Series G Closure with each design furnished in accordance with the strict requirement of UG-35 of the ASME BPV and with each Closure incorporating an oversized safety warning device that prevents unsafe operation
